    FESTIVAL DO FADO IN… SEVILHA?

    True, born in 2011 in Madrid, the festival’s been around a bit in Europe and Latin America to bring the Fado beyond. This event has become a landmark on the agenda of many artists, musicians and speakers. His debut took place before the Fado be consecrated by UNESCO as Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

    The 2nd edition of Fado Festival in Seville, in southern Spain, is held in the Teatro Lope de Vega, in the days October 08, November 30 and December 10, was released today.

    Antonio Zambujo opens the festival on 08 October, followed by Ana Moura and Cristina Branco, respectively in November and December.

    In addition to the Andalusian capital, the Fado Festival already has editions in Madrid, Buenos Aires, Bogota, Santiago, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

    “Fado and Other Songs” is the theme of the event this year, includes film screenings and conferences with the theme of fate, as well as the exhibition ‘Living with Walls’, which will remain open until the end of the festival.
